Please Bear with Us

I imagine anyone that was checking this blog has probably called it quits by now. But, if for some reason you happen to be checking in - thanks and sorry. I have many excuses as to why we haven't written in - (camera was broken for awhile; not going out as much to save for the wedding; too freakin cold to go out; when we go out we go to the same places, that we've already written about; busy planning wedding; traveling for work; I tell Kirk to post a blog, he forgets, I forget; sheer laziness. . . the list goes on).

But, I don't think our efforts are over. Summer will be here soon - we have the camera thing figured out - it will be warm enough to venture out a bit further. . .
plus, we will be taking another trip in August. We are going to Denmark and Sweden for our honeymoon - a bit different from the norm, but it should be a good time. It won't be hot and crowded like most places are in August - nor will it be cold and dark like it is the rest of the year in that part of the world. We are looking forward to seeing the sun at midnight and going for late night bike rides and strolls around the city (and whatever small islands we happen upon).

So, for those of you checking in - yes we are still alive. Maybe this doesn't have to be all about travel/food, etc. - but instead about what we are up to in general, it takes the pressure off just a bit.
